You have to take advantage of the good weather while you have it here, so we went on a mission down the coast of the peninsula and had ourselves a fun time doing a little spear fishing... Video to follow!
A māori phrase with a deeply rooted meaning of finding a place of belonging. Feeling and being connected to the earth and people. This is not just a blog about cultural enrichment, but of personal discovery. This is my recipe for adventure with a hint of Kiwi.

Sunday Adventures
This Sunday, we left on an adventure along the coast with our kiwi friend Niall with the intention of finding a good spot to dive and spear fish, however the swell was a bit too high. Instead, we made the best of our trip and had a fun time exploring some rock formations on the beach and finished the day with some body surfing in the chilly water.

Back to the Mountains
I finally decided I've had enough of studying for a little while and took a weekend vacation up Mount McIntosh along the Long Gully Saddle. Climbing a historic mine trail and traversing across some exposed rocky terrain, I found myself surrounded in a paradise of mountains at the summit. I also happened to meet some friendly cows and mountain goats along the way. This was a really unique hike with some spectacular views of Glenorchy.
